If you hear no evil, and see no evil you wake up with evil in your backyard. President Trump you did good! USAF, I can’t speak for anyone else but, your courage, precision, expertise and nerve reminds me once again that I am blessed to live in a country that is protected by the United States Military. You made a lot of people’s days yesterday.

Kurtz: “We train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won't allow them to write "fuck" on their airplanes because it's obscene!” (Apocalypse Now)

In fact Iran trains young men to fire missiles at civilians, set fire to homes where children and grand parents sleep,

build and supply deadly drones to Putin who uses them to slaughter Ukrainians and to terrorize and execute Iranian woman. The USAF trained young men to drop fire on Iran’s nuclear bomb industrial complex and put an end to the insanity of trying to wish it away. I sincerely hope the pilots who flew the mission wrote “fuck” on the bombs!

What people don't understand. 1. The Mullahs are Not popular an have not been for a very long time.. This is Not 1979, or the Iran/Iraq War. 2 (related) there are areas of Ian where government officials don't go without armed escort. 3 The Iranian Army and the IRGC, they have...issues.

Joe didn't have the balls to deal with the Run or at least his Puppet Masters didn't want him to. He created the situation by giving the money and raising the cost of gas to help them. Next question.

The usual suspects are crying foul because President Trump did not ask for their permission to destroy Iran’s nuclear bomb industrial complex. The War Powers Act does not apply to the declaration of peace and for missions to save hostages. President Trump’s action is a declaration of peace and has helped to liberate the Iranian people and the world from a terrorist enterprise. The United States Air Force on the orders of President Trump just made the world safer again. (MTWSA). May I take one giant step towards peace? Yes, you may.

President Trump, by threatening Iran with a demand of surrender or else, is actually threatening Iranian allies China and Russia with destruction of Iranian oil production facilities and the resulting loss of oil supply. Doing that would be severely problematic for China and Russia, the primary Iranian customers. The Ayatollah is fully isolated, and soon regime change will occur. The Free World wins with national economic power; military power, now used successively; join together in that Make My Day moment, but in the first case, the shot was fired. Iran will change, but to what?

The world's "oil supply" is deeply interlinked, and the destruction of Iran's capabilities not only hurts China and India but also drives up prices for all worldwide. Prepare for the next "bunker buster" to hit your local gas station.

Choice.

Terrorists with nukes or a possible gas cost increase, less than what Joe did for 4 years. Easy answer for me.

Dear Paul. Or whatever the name of the troll writing your column or comments is. The situation in the Middle East could not be more different than the situation between Russia and Ukraine. If you want a history and politics lesson I'll be glad to give it to you. Quick summary. Putin is trying to recreate the Soviet Union. Iran and the terrorist monsters are trying to commit genocide. Very little connection except that Joe helped them both. If you still don't understand I'll be glad to go over in depth. I am known for my 3-hour plus lectures. You're welcome to one anytime you want. Educating the indoctrinated is one of my specialties.

While Trump deserves accolades and Nobel Prize, whatever that’s worth, the Israelis need to develop their own mega bombs and not be dependent on the US and the next Obama-like Democratic president or isolationist Republican lurking in the wings. Diplomacy with adversaries is worthless without military prowess. Blinken, Kerry, and Chamberlain were all proof of that.

Israel can just purchase the MOPs from the US. Am sure the US can figure out how to price them accordingly. No reason to re-invent the wheel -- leave Israel free to work on development of something more exciting.

Awarding a Nobel Peace Prize for starting a war and destabilizing an already volatile Middle East... What a concept!

Can Bibi get one too for "Crimes Against Humanity"?

"Starting a war"? - where have you been since 1979? "Crimes against humanity" ?- moronic comment; try defensive survival of Arab onslaughts since 1948. You have no read on history and events in the Middle East!

John Hardman's avatar

No, "crimes against humanity" is not a "comment" but the actual charge against Netanyahu by the International CRIMINAL Court. I am very aware of the history and events in the Middle East, which is more than I can say for Trump and his administration. By the way, Iranians are not "Arabs".

It is a false commentary by a prejudiced court, like the UN, not recognized by the US nor Israel. What are the “crimes” of the only democratically elected official in the Mideast. Furthermore, I was referring to the pan-Arab attacks on the country since 1948. Iran, not the Persians, started in 1979! Again, you are misguided.

Israel is a creature born of the UN. As the saying goes, "I brought you into the world, and I can take you out."

This is an Islamist Holy War over Shiite control of Islam and Jerusalem. Israel is simply "collateral damage".

All of the current Mideast countries are born of previous wars and creations by the Turks, British, and French victors/losers. The Arabs rejected an Arab Palestine in '48 and a Palestinian state brokered by Clinton. Not sure what your comment about the UN and "take you out" means. "Collateral damage" - really? Since '79, the mullahs have targeted Israel & Jews. Your negative obsession with Israel is revealing and alarming.

It was nice that someone related to Israel gave Biden credit for the courage he did show in helping Israel to the extent he did -- enraging a large component of the Democratic Party in an election year. As Michael correctly points out, FDR didn't resign after Pearl Harbor and George W. Bush didn't resign after 9/11. I never believed TACO Trump would have the courage to pull the trigger, and am sorry he's not planning (at this time) to do the recommended 2 bunker-busting bombing of Fordo, but am glad the US continued its support of Israel.
