Hamas defines success as how many Jews they killed, raped, mutilated, tortured and destroyed and the Hamas leaders in Qatar and elsewhere remained unscathed and ready to do October 7th over and over again.
How could Israel ever try to live in any type of arrangement with an organization dedicated to its destruction. I saw a video the other day of a 4 year old girl with a Black Hamas uniform holding a make believe assault rifle in front of a camera and behind the camera a voice asked, "What do you want to do?" She answered, ""Kill a Jew". "How would you kill a Jew.? "Stab him with my knife."
And you want to live next to someone like this indoctrinated child of 4?
I have no sympathy for these killers in Gaza, or in Lebanon, or in Iran and wish that if Bibi had destroyed Iran the first day the war would long be over.
Your article proves the point I have made for years; why is there no death penalty for terrorists Israel captures. Also, Israel made a big mistake, not doing what they did in the 1967 war. Go in with devastating power, so fast and hard that Hamas would not know what hit them. Civilians die in Gaza but Israeli citizens die and no one cares.
Meanwhile Hamas keeps firing rockets after almost 3 months? This is what happens when you fight a war with hands tied behind your back. Bad strategy.
I think that some of your premises are largely incorrect:
(a) Israel has stopped caring about what other countries think. Israelis understand very clearly that there is a strong, latent (and occasionally overt) anti-Semitism throughout Europe, the UN, NGOs, and the left-wing fever swamps of North America, which includes all of the Democratic party as well as their puppet organizations such as academia and the fake-news press. The rest of the world can bitch and moan all it wants, but they will do absolutely nothing. The only really serious threat is a nuclear Iran, and the solution to that has yet to be addressed (and will not be until the current US Administration is replaced with intelligent adults).
(b) There is certainly divisiveness is Israel, but NOT on the issue of terrorism and self-defense. Every political stripe within Israel wants Hamas eliminated, and while everyone has enormous sympathy for the families of the hostages, the Gilead Shalit episode has convinced the vast majority of the country that eliminating Hamas is a far more important priority than rescuing hostages.
If you had a rational enemy, they would sue for peace and release the hostages. But we don't have a rational enemy here, so you have to make appropriate adjustments to your strategy. (Remember this clearly, because Iran is also not a rational enemy, and if war comes between Iran and the West -- a 75% probability in my estimate -- then we will have to apply the same considerations.)
The divisiveness is Israel is principally domestic, and like in the United States, its origin comes from the immutable fact that left-wing organizations do not view any election that they do not win as legitimate. That view is endemic of the radical left, and that hasn't changed since the 18th Century.
Israel will only achieve a victory when the uranium enrichment facility at Natanz, Iran is turned into a radioactive wasteland accompanied by a warning to the Mullahs and their terrorist proxies that Iran will be held accountable for the safety of Israel and that each violation of that safety will result in the death of Iranians.
We Jews are amazingly resilient. Israel will win, prosper, and continue to be a beacon of democracy and freedom. The noisy minority may make the news. But as Europe is learning, Islam brings nothing but sadness and despair and the Europeans are finally fighting back. Just as we will in America. God bless the IDF. God bless Israel. God bless America.
Winning for Israel (no winning in love and war) is having the ability to structurally change the security footprint of Gaza, larger buffer zones, tunnel barriers, reduction of missile launch sites, and cutting the head off of the Iranian snake. I do not believe you can change the DNA of hatred.
This American strongly feels there is no two state solution possible, despite my government’s push for it. Instead, Americans should unite and truly stand behind Israel. By that I mean start fighting for our captured and wounded in the Middle East, start using our forces instead of posing them, and project power before it’s too late. We really need to stop pretending this isn’t a regional, if not an incipient, global conflict.
Having experienced wars in Israel that lasted quite a while (1991 Iraq) I may be wrong but I don't remember anybody talking about the economy. How did this become so important? The vast majority of Israelis have a long way to go economically before they actually start to suffer. We have become very bourgeois where losing the opportunity to go abroad seems more important than ideals. This has been the illness of Israel for the past 30 years. Maybe this war will knock some sense back into us as to what is really important in life.
As with certain groups in the US, remaining a perpetual victim serves the political power schemes of the manipulators as it slowly sucks the life and dignity out of the victims who never become masters of their own destiny.
The long term "solution" is to move all the so-called palestinians East of the Jordan river. They can arrange their life there as all the Failed arab states are doing. If they dare attack us, we shall launch terrible wars on them from a much better position.
Israel needs to focus on leveling Gaza and inundate the tunnels. We need to acknowledge that all so called Gaza civilians ARE HAMAS!! They provide the fighting recruits, the women and children as shields, and all the facilities as shelters, including the digging of tunnels for pay.
The world can scream and protest all they want.
They are not doing the fighting. Israel has a mission to accomplish and nobody and nothing should be allowed to get on its way!!!

"AM YISRAEL CHAI"!!!!
The Rothschild-controlled Israeli government created Hamas, just as the USG created the mafia, the drug cartels, al Qaeda and ISIS. Short documentary by David Sorensen explains: https://open.substack.com/pub/realrawnews/p/documentary-on-the-israeli-governments?r=wn91x&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Thank you for the incisive analysis of the Palestinian jihadi mindset

Sad that in today's world who are so retarded and backward to believe those lies.
You probably don't believe Jesus was a Jew and that the Holocaust never happened and that's why you are so miserable.
Who is the "sovereign backer" that Hamas would lose? Not Iran for sure...
Judge the day after tomorrow. No winners.
