Excellent article, but unfortunately it's like spitting in the wind. The Israel/Jew hatred is so ingrained that fact based articles such as this have zero impact.

“This war is about whether civilised people can defend themselves against barbarians—even when those barbarians hide behind their own civilians. And many on the liberal side argue: “If defending ourselves means harming people who aren’t personally guilty, we can’t do it.” That’s exactly what the barbarians are counting on. Their main weapon is our values.

Hamas believed it could win—not because it was stronger, but because Gaza had become the most fortified place in history. Fortified not just with missiles and tunnels, but with CNN, The New York Times, the BBC, the courts in The Hague, Amnesty International—every institution dominated by the autocratic, dictatorial, or barbarian-majority world.

These institutions undermine democracy while pretending to defend it. When countries like Libya, Syria, North Korea, and Venezuela define “human rights” at the UN, the result is absurd.

So Hamas gained power through media, international courts, and ideological corruption. We, on the other hand, became weaker because progressives prostituted liberalism.

If, in a war, we say: “Let’s try to reduce civilian casualties, even on the enemy side”—yes, that’s a good liberal instinct. But if we say: “The moment civilians are harmed, we must stop”—then we hand victory to the barbarians. Because they want civilians to be harmed—it’s their shield and their strategy.

If that’s our rule, then Western civilisation is finished.”

I’m watching two Middle East wars. Israel’s military war for survival and the propaganda war against her. Israel is winning their defensive war handily but losing the propaganda war badly. Why isn’t Israel, which is militarily, strategically, and morally superior, fighting the massive disinformation campaign by Hamas and the democrat-run media that demonizes the Jewish State?

They are all doing the same thing. Demonizing us in the same way- while trumpeting their spectacular‘journalistic standards’.

This extreme deviation from normal reporting standards. speaks to a much, much bigger problem.

Somewhere, somebody- or a small group, decided this would be the narrative.

It is so antithetical to media norms, I think we must look at it as a bigger issue altogether.

It’s a blood libel. It’s the Protocols.

The International Criminal Court has already issued warrants against Israeli leaders for crimes against humanity. There are also new investigations under way on the current violence against civilians and the use of starvation as a weapon of war.

What is it & how do we deal with it?

They sure do. What never seizes to surprise me is that such people are convinced in their self-righteousness. What we don’t hear from these thoughtful humanitarians or others who accuse Israel of genocide and/or of starving civilians on purpose, are calls for Hamas to surrender. Wouldn’t that solve the immediate “humanitarian” crisis? This is curious and quite remarkable, given that it is the surest and fastest way to stop the killing in Gaza, which purportedly is what is motivating such thinkers to condemn Israel.

These reports come from independent sources since the Israeli government had declared a news blackout in the region.

Israel is losing the information war because it doesn't realize anyone with a cellphone is now a news reporter. We're being told "not to believe our lying eyes," but some things cannot be unseen.

I am surprised how many people around me hate Israel. I live in a small, 2 college town, where every week there is a "free Palestine" roadside protest. I am amazed by how many people show up. Whenever I ask people why they support the "Palestinian" cause, not one of them can explain it to me. Not only what is currently occuring, but the history of the region. Ignorance abounds, and it is frightening.

They would control it no matter what, as they have in all previous conflicts. Thats the nature of the beast.

Just imagine Hamas killing international reporters and blaming Israel, which they most certainly would do if given the chance.

Israel has allowed reporters embedded with troops. Even in these cases most of the strip is an active war zone, riddled with booby traps and tunnels - the largest built up terror state in the world.
