It is my impression that most of the anti-Israel expression in the popular media and in the demonstrations on campuses and in towns, are due to their leaders wanting more attention--for their organizations to become more popular and to receive more donations, including those from Arab countries. It all about gaining this financial support and not specifically for any ethical cause, justified or not! Consequently I cannot take their protests at all seriously!
Michael Oren's analysis shows why the name of his blog is "clarity." He takes the cacophony of competing claims and loud voices and reduces them brilliantly to logical, simple categories. By doing so he exposes the world's hypocrysy.
But in the end, if Israel can maintain its internal cohesion, we will emerge stronger, and recapture our mission of being a light unto the nations.
Cut out the noise and do what’s necessary to destroy the enemy for good!!! Cut out the internal strife as well as it weakens the goal and empower the enemy!! You have a clear goal, get it DONE!!!!!!
Mutual assured destruction (MAD) has been the paradigm to prevent a nuclear exchange between the United States and other nuclear powers. For Israel the model is Assured Destruction, AD. You commit a pogrom against Israelis and you will be destroyed. Assured destruction. Why should it be mutual?

It is a shame that Israel did not learn from the bad example set by the U.S. in response to terrorism. The amount of blood and treasure uselessly expended has left my nation deeply polarized and its reputation severely scarred by our blunders in confronting non-state radical Islamists.
It should be obvious to all by now that you cannot fight religious martyrdom by creating more martyrs. And, yet we persist…
How will the futures of both the U.S. and Israel unfold is yet to be determined. All the signs show here that the U.S. is deeply destabilized and its economy is severely stressed. Rather than uniting the nation, our actions in response to the 9-11 attacks resulted in a fracturing of our nation rather than a unification of common cause.
